On the surface, which, unfortunately, is as deep as low information dimwits dare to swim, this sounds extremely racist. Which is why I’m so surprised to see some of my more intelligent friends, but not so much with high ranking political figures, making this into something it’s not. Continue Reading →
Since we are talking monitoring police officers and holding them accountable for their actions, shouldn’t we do the same thing with those who make our laws and oversee our police officers? I’m talking about our political leaders who have even more power at their disposal and have the potential to inflict significant and irreparable damage on our Republic when they are dishonest, corrupt, and profligate.
Yes, even more than police officers, our political leaders have the potential to harm the American people when they are not properly supervised, held accountable, and when their actions are concealed from our view. Continue Reading →
WAR – Anthony Kennedy has gone and done it. Having a romanticized, fictionalized view of the role and power of the Supreme Court, the newest icon of gay rights has put the final nail in the coffin of traditional beliefs and institutions. The storm clouds of war against religion, traditional Christian religion, that have been gathering over the past several years are finally upon us and will shortly release their vicious, slashing torrents. Chief Justice Roberts, in a lucid moment (rare for him of late), gave a preview in his dissent – (Page 67 for those following along) “The majority graciously suggests that religious believers may continue to ‘advocate’ and ‘teach’ their views of marriage. The First Amendment guarantees, however, the freedom to ‘exercise’ Continue Reading →
Matt Walsh Matt Walsh I recently read an article written by Luke Simmons titled, “Why Matt Walsh’s Blog is Bad for the Soul“. Mr. Simmons criticizes Walsh for a few reasons. His first point is “Walsh’s writing lacks the fruit of the Spirit, especially love.” Mr. Simmons uses these three scriptures to make his point: And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:2 ESV) A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will Continue Reading →
Just don’t tell me how to talk. I’ve been called a bigot, racist, homophobe, hater, and a lot of other things I can’t remember at the moment. Why? Because I don’t concern myself with what others think I need to call them because of their choices, genetic inconsistencies, lifestyle choices, or the way they live. I call someone with a penis a man. If a person has a vagina, I call them women. If one chooses to have body mutilating surgery, I call them an idiot. If a person is gay, I don’t really care. If a person is strait, I don’t really care. I figure the sexuality of any given person is personal and should be kept silent. I Continue Reading →
The Corrupting Language of “Leftism” Our political discourse in America has become so thoroughly corrupted that even the terms used by conservatives to describe that very same corrupted discourse have been defined by the euphemistic lexicon of the left. This phenomenon is a leftist “Newspeak” which even conservatives unwitting use and has corrupted the entire cultural discourse. Case in point: The very use of the term “politically correct” is essentially a euphemism used to describe leftist speech codes and thought policing. A more accurate description of these types of speech codes and thought policing would be “leftism” instead of “PC.” It’s the left’s control of all ideas and philosophies as filtered through their “Newspeak” of “leftism.” “Political Correctness” is simply the delivery Continue Reading →
